Test case failed from the date picker function

Encounter an error when  I run my first test case, which has a date picker control (I have attached the image for your reference)

Please let me know how to record the date picker function in selenium.

I suggest you to write Xpaths manually , the way people explained on the toolsqa, com.

Even if you writes Css,Id or Xpath. Try writing the same uniquely.

Please follow the below steps to check whether the xpaths written are unique or not.

    Steps.

    • Add xpathchecker addon to firefox
    • Enter your xpath and check how mnay matches you are getting for the same.
    • Some times selenium will not be able to click the elements with multiple matches and some times it always clicks on the first match.

As of now i am not able to add screenshots, will add screenshots for more reference.

Lakshay : please help me to add screenshots.

you will get a popup similar to Selenium IDE , Enter your xpath in the text box , so that it will show the number of matches.
