Date validation on Start and End Calendar textboxes

Hi,

My application dashboard application which displays reports in graphical representation in Bar,Pie etc…

I need to validate dates in the report where we have Start and End Calendar textboxes that displays dates in  Rolling 30_Day Period.  Always default the ending date as today’s current date.  The starting date will be the same date of the previous month, plus 1.

example:

If today’s date is 03/10/2017, the default date range would display as  Start date as 02/11/2017 – End date as  03/10/2017.

So i need to take this date input from the calendar text boxes and compare by passing default the ending date as today’s current date.  The starting date will be the same date of the previous month, plus 1.

As the day passes the dates automatically changes so while comparing  i need to always pass Rolling 30_Day Period.  Always default the ending date as today’s current date.  The starting date will be the same date of the previous month, plus 1.

Could any one help out with this how i can validates this dates in selenium

I really wanted to understand what u are trying to do…coz it seems interesting … im not sure if im getting it rite:

What i got is that you are trying to validate the dates in the textbox with the date you pass as input…

If that is the case try date compare using java…i had gone through a site when i was doing something similar…attaching the link…

Please get back if my understanding is wrong. 🙂
