RE: Not able to download the excel file in Windows popup using AutoIT

Not able to download the excel file in Windows popup using AutoIT .
Iam not getting any error message.
Please guide me what mistake iam doing.
I have manage to open and reach upto that page where it gives the popup asking for options – “open” or “Save” and with “OK” button at the bottom.
But, after this nothing is happening and iam stuck.
I need to click on “OK” button(as it is by default “Save File” radio button is selected).

Thanks

Hello

If you are testing with Firefox there is a known workaround profile settings

to make download dialog never show  for certain mime types

that may be easier than

arranging your code to synchronize with autoit

FirefoxProfile firefoxProfile = new FirefoxProfile();
firefoxProfile.setPreference(“browser.download.folderList”,2);
firefoxProfile.setPreference(“browser.download.manager.showWhenStarting”,false);
firefoxProfile.setPreference(“browser.download.dir”,”c:\downloads”);
firefoxProfile.setPreference(“browser.helperApps.neverAsk.saveToDisk”,”text/csv”);
WebDriver driver = new FirefoxDriver(firefoxProfile);
//new RemoteWebDriver(new URL(“http://localhost:4444/wd/hub”), capability);
driver.navigate().to(“http://www.myfile.com/hey.csv”);
